Jealousy is an ugly thing.
It just killed my MP3 player.
For 2 weeks, I had no phone.
And during that time, I payed all my attention to my MP3 player.
I changed it's batteries, I listened to it all the time, put in new songs, polished it, took it everywhere I went and I listened to both the MP3's and the radio.
We were happy. We were inseperable.
But on Friday, my phone came back to me. And I payed attention to it.
My MP3 player couldn't stand that. It wanted my full attention.
But no.
I would take my phone everywhere now, and not the MP3 player.
I would take the phone to the movies, but not the MP3 player.
I would take the phone to the beach, but not the MP3 player.
I would turn my MP3 player off to talk to friends, but I would talk to friends with my phone.
The MP3 player felt it wasn't being needed anymore.
It didn't feel loved.
And then it was jealous.
Jealous of my phone.
My MP3 player couldn't stand it.
And it decided to leave me for good.
Now it won't play me my music.
Now it won't even turn on.
It won't listen to me, and I can't listen to it either.
I'm sorry MP3 player.
I miss you :(
