AHHHHHHHHHHH (I wanna scream at the top of my lungs -John Mayer)
I'm so excited. This will be my first time on the mainland!! (except the Alaskan airport, but that doesn't count.... I was small and the only thing I remember is that they had stuffed bears and wolves.)
So, this is my checklist of things to do there:
1) Broadway Musical!!
2) Try for try-outs at off-off-off-off-off broadway... don't ask
3) Ride the subway! (watch out for Michael Jackson and Wesley Snipes! They're "bad"!)
4) Central Park.
5) Central Perk....the cafe from "Friends"... kidding! I know they don't have that... or do they?
6) Times square.
7) And when I go to Times Square, I'm gonna bring a poster that says I'm from Japan so that I get chosen for TRL. Then when I get chosen, I'll go "Hi I'm Elisa, I'm from Japan. I wanna give a shoutout to my friends in Japan and Hawaii and all over the world! Summer Vacation 2006! WOOO~~~~~"
8) Pretend I'm Carrie Bradshaw.... or Samantha.... kidding! I'll be Charlotte ;)
9) NAKED COWBOY!
10) Eat hot dogs... new york cheese cake, new york steak, new york pizza, basically eat eat eat. Especially everything NEW YORK... a big apple maybe?
11) NYU and their library.
12) The Statue of Liberty... and manage NOT to slip on a banana peel... like Yu-jin did!
13) On a serious note, Ground Zero.
14) New York Public Library... GHOST BUSTERS!!!
15) Stalk Trump Tower- I'm a fan of The Apprentice.
16) Museums.
17) Buy an "I -heart- NY" tshirt!! (classic)
18) Talk, chill, and catch up with my twin sister (from another mother) and my best friend! (PRICELESS)
I only have 8 days to do this!
YAY! I'm gonna have a great time! I already know it! XD
Does anyone have any other suggestions??
if anything is recommended, please do share~~
love,
Elisa
PS- Other plans for this summer include Taiwan (Taipei), London, Paris and Rome!! Unfortunately, no stop in Spain this summer :(
